CERTIFICATION CRITERIA
The American Society of Workers Comp Professionals, Inc. AMCOMP, works to raise the professional standards of practice in the field of workers compensation.
AMCOMP will certify professionals who demonstrate proficiency in workers compensation by the successful completion of three courses of study. AMCOMP certification is for a term of two years after December 31 of the year of certification or re-certification and may be maintained as indicated below.
Certification will be designated as "WCP" (Workers Compensation Professional).
Criteria for Certification:
As a minimum for consideration by the Board of Directors, each candidate should satisfy the following requirements:
a. Completion of the following:
(I) Successful completion of Parts One and Two of AMCOMP's take home exams.
(ii) Successful completion of the AMCOMP proctored accreditation exam, inclusive of Parts One, Two and Three.
b. Membership in AMCOMP - Be an individual member or designated corporate member in good standing. |
